Angelika Knäpper Gallery is located in the city centre of Stockholm in spacious ground floor facilities with large windows facing the street. The gallery underwent a major refurbishment in 2010 improwing the storage and office areas as well as adding show room. Since, the gallery also have a window less area allowing for displays of moving imagery.
The gallery opened in 2003 as Knäpper+Baumgarten, in 2007 it grew larger and changed name to Angelika Knäpper Gallery.
The gallery represents a group of Scandinavian and international artists and works to support the future of its artists: the continually evolving practice of established artists, and the wide-ranging potential of emerging and new talents. With an ambitious exhibition programme Angelika Knäpper Gallery plays a vital role within the contemporary Scandinavian art scene.

The building underwent a major renovation in 2008-9, being restored to its original appearance from 1884.
